Therefore, I can assume that many of the profiles included in the “34 million members” statement are inactive. Trying to find a date on this site could potentially be impossible.

All you need to do is choose a username and password, then hand over your email so you can then verify your profile. Once you do that, add a headline and a little about yourself and you will be ready to explore the site.

You are unable to do much as a free user; you can browse members  in your area but you cannot initiate any sort of contact and you cannot use any of the fun/entertaining features.
