After my recent experience trying out this popular dating site, I figured it was about time to talk about some options if you’re looking to have an affair. AshleyMadison is probably the most well-known dating site out there catered to having an affair. With the amount of media SmartIT presence and mainstream advertising, there aren’t too many people unfamiliar with this site — most likely your spouse included. My opinion of this site? Not worth it. There are a few other married people on the site who would be in just as much trouble with their spouse if your affair would be discovered, but they’re few and hard to find. There are also plenty of prostitutes and escorts cluttering the site making it difficult to find who’s who. Also, this is one of the most expensive dating sites out there. Their premium package comes to a whopping $300 just for the first month! All that just to meet a prostitute? No thank you.

Even if what you’re searching for is to have an affair, often hook up sites which cater to casual dating is your best bet, and Xpress.com, in my opinion, is one of the best. The advantage of a hook up site when it comes to having an affair is simple, there are plenty of men and women who are there primarily for casual dating, they won’t get too involved with you, and they’re not looking to take advantage of you just because your married. I’ve used this site plenty and have had some great experiences with it. The Gold membership offers a bunch of excellent perks, but as far as hooking up goes, which is probably what you’re really looking for when it comes to having an affair, the Silver Membership will probably work great at a mere $29.95. Creating an account is simple and there’s so many members on the site that it won’t take you very long to find a date who’s more than willing to keep everything confidential.

XXXLove

XXXLove has a similar set-up to Xpress.com and I’m placing it on this list mostly as a basis for comparison. Like Xpress.com, it has both Silver and Gold Membership options with loads of features, but XXXLove caters a little more towards finding singles to hook up for casual sex. Again, this is more than likely your best bet in regards to finding a suitable match for having an affair. These people are only interested in something really casual and won’t do something that could damage your marriage. All dating sites will have your share of fake profiles, but if you feel like you may be falling into a scam, there isn’t the presumption that your married which the scammer could use against you, unlike the specifically affair-based sites which imply that already.

AdultFriendFinder

AdultFriendFinder is one of the most successful hook up sites on the internet and it’s one of the first adult dating sites still in existence. The sign-up is easy and the membership is affordable, and since it’s so huge, there’s plenty of options to meet women and men who are interested in casual and discreet sex. The downside of AdultFriendFinder is that it may be a victim of it’s own success. Because it’s so famous, the site is crawling with scammers and fake profiles ready to rip you off. If any of these people found out that you were married, then they could easily take advantage of that fact. Now I know that I’m listing a lot of hook up sites when this post is supposed to be about having an affair, but generally if you’re serious about having an affair, the casual hook up is probably going to be your best bet. That being said, JustHookup.com is one of the worst places to go for just about anything dating related. Sure there are what appears to be lots of profiles of available hook ups and this site seems to be a huge resource for your casual dating needs, but, I’ll just go right out and say it, this site is a scam. You are forced to purchase a membership right from the beginning which would appear to give you access to lots of profiles, but there is no way of telling which ones are fake. My hunch is that most of them are fake on this site, especially since they essentially come right out and say as much if you’re so inclined to read the fine print where they state that most of the profiles are there for entertainment purposes. There are lots and lots of mainstream dating sites out there and some are great and some are terrible, but if you’re looking to have an affair, they’re not the direction that you want to go.  You’ll most likely find a date who’s interested in staring a long-term relationship and unlikely someone who’s okay with keeping everything secret because you’re married. If your marriage is that unhappy, and you’re ready to end it forever, a mainstream dating site like OkCupid could be a great place to start if you’re thinking of getting back into the dating scene once your divorce has been settled. If you’re looking to have and affair with the thought of staying with your spouse and keeping it a secret forever, this is a bad idea. Stick to the places where you can have casual hook ups and you’ll never have to worry.
